Choosing the best engagement photo location can be kinda hard. Not everyone dreams of doing their engagement photos in a field (not that there’s anything wrong with that!)

If you’re more of a city girl like me, the idea of going out to a field now matter how pretty it is, may not be ideal for you.

Most of my couples love city engagement photos and because of that, I’ve found some really awesome locations! Here are my three favorite Engagement photo locations in Raleigh (with one being in Cary, you’ll see why below! 😂)

Engagement photo location 1: Heirloom Brewshop

The Heirloom Brewshop is to die for! Gorgeous light fills this little cafe (and the food and coffee are so so good!) The perfect spot for a modern casual lifestyle feel to your engagement photos.

Engagement photo location 2: Raleigh Rose garden

The Raleigh Rose Garden is right across the street from NC State university but is so quiet and tucked away it feels like you’re in a whole new place.

Photo location 3: Downtown Cary Park

I know, I know this one isn’t technically in Raleigh. But with the beautiful fountain, the wonderful art center, and tons of little restaurants and cafes you could visit after your session, The Downtown Cary Park just too good to leave off the list! (Also Trader Joes and Target are like right down the road which makes this even better 😂)

So these are my top 3 favorite engagement photo locations in Raleigh to take beautiful city engagement photos!

Some other awesome ideas could be The capitol in downtown Raleigh, Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh, The Raleigh Museum of art.
