Ok, so this is a session I’ve looked forward to since Takira decided to let me shoot her wedding! When she told me where she was thinking of doing the pictures I got so excited because I absolutely love a good downtown engagement session!

Mainly because, city landscapes + beautiful sunlight = a very happy photographer!

In addition to shooting downtown, we also shot in the worlds most aesthetically pleasing coffee shop called The Heirloom Brewshop. (Like my house needs to look like this place!)

Now about this beautiful couple!

Takira and Tajai have been together for years. They dated through college (Takira went to NC State University with me!) and got engaged last year, there is a really cute video of their engagement you can find here! 

During their downtown engagement session, they were not only amazing sports who were up for anything, but they were also incredibly sweet and so loving with each other. And they would joke and mess with each other in the absolute cutest way!

They are both amazing and creative people who love to travel, work on super cool projects, and just enjoy each other’s company! 

Takira was also just so sweet to me in college when I was like a lost puppy, so I’m glad I get to share some love and capture her amazing day!
