Lauren and Gordon | Backyard Wedding Portraits |Charlotte NC Photographer
Wedding
Filed in :

About a month ago Lauren reached out to me and told me she wanted backyard wedding portraits after she eloped on the Appalachian Trail. I was 100% on board right away!
After a bit of planning, she decided she wanted to take photos in the field behind their home in Charlotte NC.
Lauren told me she was going for a whimsical vibe and I personally feel like we pulled it off. (I couldn’t decide if I felt like it something from Pride and Prejudice or Narnia!)
We ran around in that field for a solid hour (and in the rain! Sooo The Notebook vibes?)
After we were done in the field we took photos on their front porch where Lauren and Gordon often listen to podcasts and drink tea.
The two of them were incredibly sweet (Gorgon gave me a nature book after we reminisced about our nature-filled childhoods!!). By the end of the session, I felt like I was saying bye to new friends!
Lauren and Gordon will soon be heading off to New Jersey for Lauren’s job. So getting photos in their first house was very meaningful to them.
Overall I loved working with them and I’m so happy with how the photos turned out! Check them out below!
