When Sarah contacted me saying she wanted to have me shoot her engagement session I was super excited! We decided that downtown Fayetteville would be the perfect spot! We were then able to choose a date and everything was going to plan until a combination of rain and COVID-19 happened. 

The day we chose would be all rainy, and while rain can be beautiful in photos (check out this rainy session here!), Sarah really wanted her session to be full of sunshine. So she texted me on Friday and asked if I could do the shoot the same day.

Since I wasn’t sure what next week would hold, I agreed. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten ready for a shoot that fast in my life! But, we were able to meet downtown and take SO MANY beautiful and light-filled photos. 

(And yes we did avoid crowds and try to keep a safe distance from each other.) 

A little about Sarah and Jacob. 

Jacob is in the military and Sarah is a teacher. They are both so incredibly sweet! Sarah also dressed up as Disney princesses for events! (I honestly love when couples love Disney as much as I do!) 

Sarah had told me that Jacob would feel a little shy and nervous about being in front of the camera, but he was a total natural! Like honestly there were times where I didn’t have to coach them at all!
