Narrow down the spots you want on or off campus! I always tell people to choose the biggest spots first and if we have time we’ll make little stops for anything else!

Choose the right outfits

I recommend a formal and a casual one! A formal outfit always looks good with a cap and gown. I recommend choosing an outfit color that goes with your cap and gown!

Props

If you are over 21 a champagne pop photo is always a fun one to do! If you are younger paper confetti is both eco-friendly and photographs beautifully! I’ve always had people bling out their caps, bring their dog, get a fun sash, the list is endless!

Time of day

I recommend we shoot at golden hour! This time changes depending on daylight savings, but it’s usually in the late afternoon or evening. If we absolutely can’t shoot then I recommend early in the mourning.

Getting comfy in front of the camera

This one is so easy because I’ll guide you and tell you what to do! Just trust the process and be ready to have some fun. We’ll start slowly and easily so that it’s not too overwhelming. I then do my best to match poses and ideas based on the look you want and also what you feel comfortable doing. Not everyone whats to be jumping around like crazy!
